Not a "video", but actually audio tapes of MOCR during Apollo 17, with lots of ambient sound and background conversations:

Wow 😵😍👌

Nice to hear that young voice of Kranz. Although he doesn't really sound that different today. They should actually play such audios in (now) FCR 2 for visitors. It's such a good quality, doesn't sound old at all. Half a century ago already... damn. When I became interested, it wasn't even two decades ago back then.

But now I can imagine what Kranz means when says "I hear things" when he visits the room today...

I always get a little nosralgic and melancholic when I watch and hear these things. Almost as if one was there back then, because of being surrounded by that topic for decades and almost daily since the internet.

Now a national landmark...

I didn't know German chancellor Willy Brandt was there to watch the launch, just in front of von Braun. Nice to see. Different times. I doubt Olaf Scholz would watch the launch of Artemis...

Maybe if Alexander Gerst is onboard, after all, he is rumoned for Artemis 3. Also, I don't think Brandt was there just for the launch at that day....

Scholz will be out of office next year 😜 Gerst would be a good selection I think. A German Harrison Schmitt.
